Playmobil for three year old

I am looking for something for a three year old boy that will last a while. He loves horses, action stuff, boats and cars.
Any recommendations ?

Playmobil is fantastic but keep in mind that it comes with a thousand teeny, tiny little bits.
I would maybe consider picking up a couple of the smaller, basic sets that are pretty much just horses and people or a car and people and then adding things on as he grows.

The city police horse and trailer seems to not have too many bits and you could team it up with a car. Then as he grows you've got scope to expand more towards action and police or soldiers or towards horses and farms depending on his interests.

Honest question.

Why does it have to last a while ? He will grow out of it soon.

That makes sense especially as he has to take it home with him on the train after Xmas

Our grandson, who will be 2 on Boxing Day, is currently playing with his daddy & uncle’s PlayMobil from when they were little. DS2 has just taken all the little bits out of it and given him the main toys.

He loves the nineties version of this because it floats in the bath if you buy the motor to go with it. We’ve got him the Chinook helicopter for Christmas because he’s plane and helicopter mad.

Playmobil is brilliant, it lasts for years

Make it the night before. Trust me. It's such a faff, child will be crying after the second hour of not being able to play with the toy while you are patiently applying stickers.

Grow out of Playmobil 😱
What is this concept? You're never to old for Playmobil 😂
@Batoutofhellish you can little starter sets that come in a mini suitcase which would be good to keep the bits together while travelling home.

There used to be a Playmobil range aimed at younger kids, it was called Playmobil 123 but seems to be called Playmobil Junior now. I would really recommend the Ark. The figures are chunky and no tiny pieces, they also pack up into the ark so it's fully portable with a handle etc. They do other sets in the same range e.g. a farm (with horse) that packs up into the stable. Would be ideal for a 3 year old. I can see them on Amazon, but I am sure they will be available elsewhere. Vehicle wise there is a good airport shuttle bus with figures and luggage, or a tractor etc. www.amazon.co.uk/PLAYMOBIL-71681-JUNIOR-sustainable-plant-based/dp/B0CS86RWF3/ref=mp_s_a_1_12?crid=257KYCJWTQJRT&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.UcEHBW6S1LhRaqzJeOkEa4qQRo_XPdAR1HIl90IBSNbhbOxCA3auOvEpf19JMV3pZ1Sh1rNk9QaxnXv_E64h2-6nUuYlkJUHeWwnTkGKIPD2AwrPi8aDsJqtZnnL0OXQCPZThtkrNtLXNBx944X28hVOFkfl5GRq3RbxtxRvnTKVbgrm8wXCbeNU6CuqSHa5zOeMNLE8hzY5Wk-UQ-7sKQ.mHIuaMe_3L8W0AvItnPVjZTkExbqjYCmFAex916dWF4&dib_tag=se&keywords=playmobil+junior&qid=1763312798&sprefix=playmobil+junior%2Caps%2C113&sr=8-12&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.95fd378e-6299-4723-b1f1-3952ffba15af
