Tempted by the jellycat reindeer but this not like my kids collect them

I got my 11yo dd one last year and she LOVES it, but she’s a huge animal lover (specifically turtles) so it’s very much her kind of thing. The bracelet itself is lovely but doesn’t ‘do’ anything, it’s the code you scan that comes with the bracelet which allows you to track the animal. She has the app on her phone and gets notifications if her turtle is on the move and still checks it regularly. I think it’s a nice little novelty gift if you can get a good deal on them.

Can anyone recommend a lovely gift for my sons nursery leader and key worker - hes leaving for school in January so would like to get something nice for them both individually - looking at cupcakes for all other staff.

@XxTigerlilyxx ive not ordered yet also have a jellycat and some perfume in my basket. Ive just checked again and even though its saying my £20 has been applied it’s not coming off the total so maybe it only works on full price items

@Jollyjoy I am Switch hunting. I've got a price alert on Camel for the Amazon version, obviously as you know, no price drop yet. TBH I'm not expecting much of one, it being so new and selling so well. I'm more hoping I can find it somewhere else that has a discount code but no joy so far. Tried Very just now but the "sign up and get 20% off" there specifically excludes Switches and other consoles. Bah humbug to them! Will post if I find anything...

I got my voucher today but can't seem to use it either....guess it doesn't work on discounted items and everything is discounted.

Tried on a Jellycat reindeer and it says 'discounts do not apply'...either the black Friday one or the £20 voucher 🙃

Any good deals on stand mixers please? I'm unsure whether to buy or not. Certainly not paying Kitchenaid prices, but are cheap ones a lower quality?

I have a Kenwood K Mix after I read about it on here and it's fantastic. I don't have a kitchenmaid to compare it to but it does everything you'd expect and it looks great. I use it all the time and love it!

Both my kids collect the Fahlo bracelets, though both use the app on my phone with the same account. I thought they'd find it boring once they realised that the bracelets don't do anything but they're always asking for more
Just a pointer though, if you go for an animal that is hunted by poachers or extremely endangered, it uses old tracking data to protect the animals. DD has an elephant that is 4 months behind and DS has a wolf that simply says "historical data". They both understand why and agree with it but we're a little disappointed as they like the idea of knowing where the animals are now.

Those in the know about Yoto, can a mini be used sufficiently at home, or is the normal one a must? I know a few places have 20% at the moment, but is it worth waiting for their own deals, plus a referral code?

Personally we prefer the large ones but if only going to use in car or out and about then a mini

I can't get it to work on anything in my basket so it isn't just me then !
