I run 4 social groups and each of them have a Christmas meal. I always wanted to do presents but labelled gifts or personalised ones don't work as attendance can change in number and who can attend. A couple of years ago I hit on the idea of a lucky dip stocking. I have this huge stocking and each year I fill it with 50 or so small gifts. Then everyone gets a lucky dip. I don't get tat, it can be something small like handbag tissues in a christmassy design, a maltesers reindeer, we have funny stuff like Christmas washing up liquid etc
It goes down so well and I love wrapping it all up. It's my job for today as the first Christmas meals start soon. Im going to put a christmas film on and do it. Just wanted to share my joy with all you Christmas lovers ❤️

Great idea - we used to do similar for kids party - instead of a gift bag it was a lucky dip for a small gift at the end of the party. Enjoy your wrapping party!

Charity shops would be great hunting grounds for things. Ours are full of Christmas mugs, decorations, table mats and stuff most of it still in its original packaging just now. I bought some of the tissues you describe yesterday for 10p.
