Family gifts - board/card game

I'm in the process of planning out Christmas gifts. I'm doing a gift basket for a family with the usual bits and pieces but also wanted to include a game that they could play together over Christmas. Family is mum, dad, and two teenage girls. Any suggestions?

Articulate sprang to mind, people have to describe a word on a card, have always had a laugh playing!

Settlers of Catan is FAB!

Camel up good concept and not to hard to play.

Outsmarted is our favourite. Its a quiz that you download an app for but you also have a board. Its similar to trivial pursuit. You answer questions on categories and try to gain the coloured rings. We love it because you can send the game code to others and they an join in remotely. The questions are current and keep updating.

We love monopoly deal as a card game and we recently played 'the really nasty horse racing game' which we all enjoyed (me, dp, dd17, dd12, ds10)
