My daughter has absolutely no idea what she would like for Christmas! She doesnt play with toys that much anymore, she loves crafty things, writing, reading, singing, dancing. She has lots of craft and stationary stuff already! She has a mini microphone and speaker set already! Its just myself and her so things she can do herself or we can do togehter would be great! I'm absolutely stumped!

We love a boardgame so if anyone has any recommendations for this age that would be great!

What is everyone getting there 7/8/9 year old girls?? Or what did you get last year that was a big hit! Thank you 😊

We love trivial pursuit family and articulate kids. My almost 8 year old wants a cuddle cushion for reading in bed, a times tables game (I am thinking galt/orchard maybe) , and an airtrack 🙄.
What about tickets to a show for you both?

last years big hit for us was roller skates. And the previous year was lights for the wheels of her bike which she still loves.

And the kids garmin watch. She loved that.

We're buying for 2 8 year old . DH has found some magazine subscriptions on subjects they both love. One has suggested the 3 latest bunny v monkey books and a hoodie from the Marine Conservation charity. His favourite one is rocktopus.

The grandchildren also usually get a large tube of sweets but two of them are lactose intolerant and they only seem to do fruit pastilles that are lactose free.

My 8 nearly 9 year old got the game of life and horrible histories board games last year that he really likes. He’s getting the garmin watch this year plus an archery set. Also a model puffin kit from hobbycraft as that’s his fave animal at the moment. I got my youngest a hair gem gadget thing for £7 from TikTok shop today.

Pottery or art classes could be a good idea and you can go there together
You say she's into reading, so a monthly book subscription would be a good option, just make sure you pick age appropriate range, because some books could be just boring at that age.
If there are artists she likes, you can get something from their official stores, like clothing items or accessories, signed posters, etc
You can also make a calendar with their pictures or get a t-shirt/hoodie and print something related to them on it
DIY accessories or friendship bracelet making kits
A set of lip balms
Hair accessories
Glowing stickers, lava lamp, led string lights
Fluffy socks
A big pack of her favorite snacks

Light drawing box sounds fun! Which one did you go for?
