Any ideas on what to buy my Dad?

He's early sixties, very introverted, lives alone, has money to purchase anything he wants. Doesn't really drink, loves his caravan but isn't massively into his food other than the occasional sweet treat.

Works part time to keep his hand in and is a bit of a home bird the rest of the time. Not a keen gardener but does like cutting his grass. I'm at a total loss this year!

Just got my dad (older) a calendar with family photos. He’s really delighted.

Is he into any sports, theatre or anything like that? Could treat him to a show or event and you could go with him.
something practical like an air fryer or remote Hoover thingy to reduce work in the house?
pay for a streaming service for films and/or music?
weekend away with you and the family?
upgrade of treats he enjoys?
selection of books?
new dressing gown/slippers/jumper/jacket
one of those bird cameras
record player and an album or 2 of his favourite band
fancy advent calendar to enjoy through Dec with some smaller presents on the day

BBQ tools for the caravan.
map of uk walks for when he’s touring.
memory foam topper for his bed in caravan.
Isabella lounge chair.
Isabella windbreaker
solar panel for the caravan

How often does he go away in the caravan, where does he go, is he a member of any clubs etc?
Could you buy him membership of CAMC or the CC (Caravan And Motorhome Club & Camping Club) or pay the site fees for a few days away?

My elderly DF has a jam sandwich for his lunch every day. Last year I found half a dozen jars of jam from various markets. He was thrilled. It’s stuff that he likes, uses and doesn’t clutter up the place. I’m working on this year’s collection.

How about a wildlife camera he can set up in the garden so he can then see what visits overnight.

I have had one for a few years and there have been some great surprises what goes on out there after dark.

Family photo calendar? You can design one yourself, add birthdays, wedding anniversaries, holidays, etc.

Could be a snack box subscription if he's into trying new things (could be something sweet if he's more into that)

Does he like birds? There are smart bird feeders with cameras.
Tech items like good headphones or portable charger maybe?
Garden tools, or a gift card to a store where he could buy something he needs.
Does he use any skincare or cologne? You can get him an upgraded version of those.

I second the magazine subscription! I have one for both my parents and it’s the gift that keeps on giving. Every month they have their next edition delivered and then the pass them on to friends and family to read. My dad is difficult to buy for as well and for his last birthday I got him a hamper and filled it with bits like his favourite chocolate, wine, cheese, crackers, a crossword book etc

Digital weather station thing?
Birdbox camera?

I think there’s a jam advent calendar from that French brand Bonne Mayan. Your dad might like that.
