Presents for 10 month old?

Looking for ideas for what to get my (will be) 10.5 month old little boy? I don't want to go too crazy and I also don't want to fill my house up with a load of pointless junk (done that with his elder sibling and determined not to do it again), but I obviously want it to be exciting for him. Can I have some ideas please. Thank you

A box of tinsel wrapped up will be exciting for a 10 month old

A couple books, a toy (like stacking toy
or a bath toy) that should be plenty. Will grandparents etc be giving gifts? If so you don’t need to get anything else.

Tomy eggs or that jumping frog (search frog in a box).

Stacking toys, bath toys, a balloon, bubble machine, books, musical toys like drums and shakers, at that age mine was really into the fisher price or happy land sets too. First Christmas I also just bought all the next size up clothes and wrapped them, the excitement of unwrapping was just as good.

One of those balloons with a weight at the bottom so that he can pull and push it to his heart's content.
The "latest" board books, ie ones that his older siblings don't already have.
If you need a stocking, things like a new babygro, bubblebath toothbrush, toothpaste etc. Baby will enjoy unwrapping them.

I'm thinking of getting some IGLU soft play blocks for mine, but he is a precious first born
