Christmas gift for Childminder & kids?

Hi all this is my 16 month olds first Christmas period where he will be at the childminder. She’s been amazing and we’d like to get her a nice gift. I have a few questions…

Firstly what sort of thing should I get her? My ideas have been a gift voucher for somewhere like Amazon so she can buy something for herself or supplies, a pamper gift set and prosecco, a gift voucher for a restaurant.

It was her birthday recently and we made her a card and got her a box of chocolates… I was surprised to see that another parent arrived at pick up time with a huge Rituals gift bag full of goodies! So I’m also wondering how much to spend? (We could afford up to £50 but obviously don’t want to go overboard if the going rate is more £20?).

Whats the etiquette for buying a present for the other minded children? My son has a great bond with the two other mindees.

Finally, she has two school age children who are amazing with my son. Her husband is also great with him. But where do I draw the line?! Should I get a small something for them, say a selection box for her kids and some chocolates for her husband?

I don't think what other parents buy should influence your buying.
When mine were at a childminders I bought a small personal gift for her birthday and then a family gift for Christmas did things like a retro sweet hamper, local produce hamper, cinema vouchers, a local attraction i knew she went with her kids. I suppose it got more personalised over the years as I got to know them. I probably spent £20 on a birthday gift and £40 on a Christmas gift. All my kids made her cards as well.
Also start how you mean to go on because she might have more dc (my childminder had 2 of her own by the time we left had 5). I never bought for the other minded kids because when they did after school care it could be 10 dc and where do you stop.

We did a bottle of processo/wine, some chocolates (she had teens when DD was there) and one Christmas tree ornament.

She had a "mindee" tree she added all ornaments on it she received as gifts and which she did together with the children.

One year we gave her a Gonk, she loves it and when I recently met her (DD left her 8 years ago), she said it comes out every year and the children love it as well.
