Stocking fillers- suggestions please!

Hi all, any suggestions of stocking fillers (and where to get them)? Looking for things for 5 & 8yr old boys. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Preferably cheap!

Things that have worked for me:

A packet of Panini Football cards
Card games like UNO or Dobble in a theme of their interest
split a bag of chocolate coins between them both
slime/putty
a joke (eBay is good for this - fart bombs, fake poo etc)
hair gel/bath bomb/colour changing bubbles
Pez (the Range have a good selection - you can do a different one each year)
Stretchy poo catapult
Stretchy sticky hand
Lego poly bag with a mini Christmas figure
Legami animal pen
Keyring - in favourite football team or their name
Sparklers
Highlighters/post its/special pen/blu tack
sweet tube eg milky bar buttons
Lipbalm - Lip Smackers do fun ones like Coca Cola and Fanta flavour
gemstones/break your own geode
maagzine (bulks it out a bit too!)

I often do a variety of the above in a different theme each year and some things stay the same. E.g animal Dobble when my child was younger, moving on to Arsenal Dobble when they got older - same idea with keyrings. Some things stay the same and they come to enjoy them e.g always get a tube of milky bar buttons and always get a Pez, but the Pez theme changes each year - so Batman one year, Spider-Man the next.

Pack of Top Trumps about something they are interested in.
Joke book.
Can of Coke/packet of sugary breakfast cereal if this is something they aren't usually allowed.
Tube of Pringles.
Glittery bath bomb.
Character pants/socks.
Rubber farm/zoo/dinosaur animals.
Matchbox car.
Comic.
For some strange reason, many small children seem to get very excited at a roll of sellotape and a packet of blue tack in their stockings!
A yoyo.
Sheet of stickers, or sticker/puzzle book.
Bag of Haribo.

For the 5 year old:

Smyths toys do a lovely wooden compendium of games with snakes and ladders, Ludo, chess, draughts, solitaire and Chines checkers all in a wooden chest maybe a good to share gift.
Temu has fake Lego in dinosaurs type thing.
A book
A lap tray.
Jigsaw puzzle
Art supplies

5 year old

This is due to early Christmas wakers. One year I finished wrapping the presents at 2 am, DD woke us up at 4 am. So we themed their stocking so they could open their stocking together and it would keep them occupied for an hour or so.
