Am I late to make and feed Christmas cakes?

It’s 05 Nov. Am I too late to start baking and feeding Christmas cakes?

Also, what can I start and prep and freeze, baking wise, for Christmas?

I’m behind with things as had a manic 6 weeks.

I don't think it's too late. There are also recipes for last minute cakes that don't need a long resting time, maybe Nigella?

No, and a decent fruit cake doesn't need much feeding anyway. You've got plenty of time.

No, I made mine last Sunday - I always make mine towards the end of Oct half term. It’s always delicious, though I say so myself! (With plenty of brandy at the start and will be fed every 10 days until I put the marzipan on, a few days before Christmas)

I make mini Christmas cakes and they really don't need much feeding or maturing. I only made them today, you have plenty of time and I'm sure Delia Smith has a Christmas Eve Christmas cake for when you really forgot until the last minute.

I always make mine towards the end of November. A few weeks feeding is plenty.
