We are taking the kids (6 and 3) for the first time. Could only get tickets for the 3pm slot. Any tips to get the most from our visit please?

It’s a great slot as you will get to see the elven village in the dark with all the fairy lights. I would arrive a bit early as there is some theming in the clearing before you go in. We were running late and missed it. When you’re paying what they charge you don’t want to miss any of it. I personally wouldn’t plan to eat in the village as I find the time there isn’t enough to eat, skate and shop. We just buy sweets from Pixie Mixie sweet shop in the village. Have fun!

Amazing, thanks! I was worried it would too late so that’s reassuring x

That is a good time of day but will get dark quickly so try to take some nice photos in the light too. Write Santa letters in advance, so you can save so much time and just label them with the stickers they give you in the Post Office and post them. Go up to elves in the village for unique interactions and photos, they are all so friendly. Get a few extra currency coins than you will spend, as souvenirs. If you get the book to read beforehand, you will find your children will point out to you the names and stories of elves they recognise. Update the info on your kids before you go with something very recent, they will be very surprised!

(Personally I couldn't bear to post their real letters they'd worked so hard on as you don't get any reply, so I secretly brought photocopies with me and kept the real ones!)
