Gift Ideas for 16 Year Old Boy

Hi Everyone,

I'm really struggling for gift ideas for my 16 year old nephew - he never asks for anything in particular and there's nothing obvious jumping out to me. I thought I might get him some nice aftershave so any ideas for aftershaves popular with that age group? Or any other suggestions would be welcome, what are you getting the 16 year old boy in your life?

Aftershave is a lovely gift, but I think you would need to know what he likes or get a selection set as it can be pretty expensive to take a punt on and very personal. My DS likes Stronger with You and Stronger with You Intensely which smell lovely on him but everyone is different!

Does your nephew have hobbies? The vast majority of things on my DS’s wish list are either hobby-related (sports mainly), clothes or cash. Fairly generic, but a good power bank or cool LED lighting for bedroom would go down well here.

Nike does a range of men’s scents. Joop! is also popular.
Im getting my nephew a Japanese snack box and Perplexus Beast 3d maze game.

Are there any teams or artists/bands he likes? You can get him something from their official store(s) as there are usually plenty of signed items or clothing options. If he likes to decorate his room with things like posters, you can make a poster calendar with his favorite team/band or make a big collage of their pictures.

Tech stuff usually goes down well too, so getting him a good power bank as PP suggested or good headphones/quality mouse could be a great idea. If he's into video games, then could be a Steam gift card.

Sorry, didn't mean to disappear! Thanks for the suggestions! I take the point about aftershave - I was trying to avoid asking him as I like to surprise people with gifts but agree it's probably best to ask!
