Kids Advent Calendars

Has anyone been able to find any good advent calendars this year suitable for toddlers?

I feel like the Christmas magic has dwindled in this area. As a child I loved the detailed Christmas scene on the front which was a new design every year and I loved seeing what shape of chocolate it would be today - star/stocking/present/holly etc and seeing the different pictures every day behind the chocolate in the window - snowman etc.

I’m looking this year and the big brands (kinder/lindt) all seem to be reusing last years design and most of the others have a very simple/barely Christmassy design (Big Bluey with a Christmas hat on). Such lazy design in my opinion - why can’t Bluey be underneath the Christmas tree opening presents or on at an ice rink with lots of other characters and detail.

I’ve had a look at independent chocolatiers and Etsy but they all seem geared towards adults.

Has anyone managed to find a good’un?

I agree. How hard would it be to put a Christmassy picture on the front at least. And the fact that they've hiked the prices up so much doesn't help either.

What about the Hotel Chocolat ones or the Gruffalo , bit more expensive than the basic ones though .

Spencer Bear or the dairy free one at M&S are definitely contenders.
I do quite like the penguin and snowmen at Hotel Chocolat.

I like that it specifies that it's both chocolate and pictures behind the doors too. Years ago I treated myself to a Lindt one and was so disappointed there were no pictures!
