When they might still believe…

So ds is 11 and doesn’t believe, dd is 9 and tried to find out if she does or doesn’t believe in Father Christmas.

this week we ended up at a garden centre quite far from where we live but with lots of perfect stocking fillers. I ended up buying some with the hope that she might have forgotten between now and Christmas if they do end up in stockings (not for her- mainly for dh/ mil who are hard to buy for!)

but is it worth the risk. If she does believe, sees them and does remember then the magic is over… what would you do?

It's not worth the risk - let her have the magic for one more year

I remember when I was around that age, even though I didn’t believe at that point, it was more fun to pretend I still did. So I’d say it’s not worth the risk.
