9 yr old DD- gift ideas help!

My DD has her 9th birthday a few weeks before Christmas. This is the first year I am struggling for gift ideas for either Christmas or birthday. She says she doesn’t know what she wants and wants a suprise.

We bought her a switch last year which she loved and I know a few family members are buying games to add to it for her this year so she doesn’t need any others.

She’s not that bothered about crafting/ clothes/ make up stuff. She loves being active, plays golf and loves reading.

Hoping the wonderful mumsnet community can help me out with some ideas please 🙏😊

@movedcountriesonahunch She pretty much is sorted for golf gear….though a novelty something is a good shout.

Thanks for the ideas - she’s not read the worst witch series 👍

Maybe a rubiks cube or board games and puzzles.
My kids loved bananagrams and dobble.
Maybe roller skates, a penny board or a bike.
A kindle with a book subscription.

It's great she loves reading. With so much tech dominating our lives right now I love to hear that children still want to read books! (check out my book 'eleven' by Cassie Castle on Amazon for ages 8-11😊)

Impossible Creatures by Katherine Rundell. There are 2 books in the series so far and my daughter loves them. A bitzee is on my daughters list this year.

Definitely an experience -zip wiring , tree top walk, Zorbing or similar

Would she like to go kayaking , paddle boarding -do you live somewhere where this may be possible ?

A kindle

Book tokens so she can be let loose in a store and choose her own selection to read
