Does anyone else still buy themselves a ‘little pictures’ Advent Calendar?

And isn’t remotely bothered about the ones with ‘stuff’?
I hope I’m not the only one…

I got myself one off Amazon last Christmas and I intend to do the same this year. It felt very nostalgic.

I absolutely love the Alison Gardiner ones, available on Amazon. Proper old fashioned, colourful, lovely pictures. I'm really hoping she's done another one for this year, or I'm going to have to repeat.

No. I need the stuff

This is, in my opinion, the best advent calendar. It's lovely, classy, beautifully made and the windows add to the story. Had New York last year, maybe Paris this year?

Yes! Last one I bought was direct from an artist (printmaker) called Molly Lemon from one of her handmade designs and it was lovely.

My DDs (now 20 & 17) have always had these rather than the chocolate or small gifts ones. And have already bought them for this year! Usually find them in the local garden centre.
