This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7 and share around the joy/referral perks.

YKWDELIVERY gives free delivery which saves £4.99

The delivery code didn’t work for me? Said it wasn’t valid with the product.

With all this pillow chat there's a worryingly high chance we'll all be getting pillows and potato peelers for Christmas.

On a far less practical note, Fenty 15% off if you spend £50 and 25% off if you spend £75. I think this is especially popular with younger people who are in a Y2K phase but their tinted moisturiser has been the best I've found as I've got older. It's Rihanna's brand.

NGL I wouldn't be disappointed with a very good pillow as a present

Apologies - I'm trying to scroll through a thread (probably on wrong one) for a towel brand recommended for hair - I keep thinking it was a double barrelled name but cannot find post , thank you

FurForksSake · 26/10/2025 12:51

Dock and bay?

ThatshallotBaby · 26/10/2025 12:53

This is a bit of a long shot, but many threads back somebody linked to a lovely sea salt container, it was ceramic with blue swirls. I would be so grateful if somebody could remember the link!

Delivery code works if you don't use the 10% new customer code.

Was it Ulster Weavers? They get recommended every year.

Does anyone know if Stanley did any black Friday deals last year? Or if id be better with the new customer 15% off?

Also I havent bought the needoh advent to properly comment but I was interested in it, until I saw it in Smyths. I couldnt believe how light it was and it looked like the things you'd be getting would be tiny.

@hugsandpugs I think you mentioned the panda pillow. They regularly appear in my costco if you have one near. Mine was about 30 if I remember right but I have had it a while now.

I don't know what Stanley themselves did last year but Urban Outfitters and John Lewis both included them in black friday deals at the end of Nov. It was £10 off Stanley at UO first then they did 30% off brands which included Stanley. I didn't write down exactly what JL's offer was but I suspect it was similar. Hopefully someone who bought can advise. HTH

Hedjwitch · 26/10/2025 14:24

I think the next thread should be called the one with all the pillow talk.

User202242 · 26/10/2025 14:48

Can anyone recommend the best price im likely to get for Dior Sauvage? 60ml Parfum one! 15% off at Boots seems about it!

IVbumble · 26/10/2025 12:56

Delivery code works if you don't use the 10% new customer code.

I tired with just the delivery code first and it didn’t work for me. So I used the 10% instead.

ChristmasMad1 · 26/10/2025 15:05

Does anyone know where I can get either cheap Christmas throws to cover the sofa or a Christmas duvet cover to cover the sofa? I have dogs who will rip the sofa is not covered

ThatshallotBaby · 26/10/2025 15:07

@ApiratesaysYarrr
Thank you so much, I’m not sure, I found that one, but I think the one I’m thinking of was more ‘artisan’ Wink Thank you so much for taking the time to help.

Arregaithel · 26/10/2025 15:29

@ChristmasMad1

OHS, for price rather than quality

or Ikea but not christmassy patterned ( you could buy a red & a green though)

Whoevenarethey · 26/10/2025 15:43

Anyone recommend any touch screen gloves for a 10 year old? Loads on Amazon but wondered if anyone had a personal recommendation. Thanks

VikingNorthUtsire · 26/10/2025 15:46

Thanks to those who shared YKW codes - everyone in my house is getting pillows from Santa this year 😁

I have the Act + Acre ones and they are lovely. Had them since last Xmas and they wash and dry well. They do cut down drying time which is great for long/thick hair.

sorry I feel like this was mentioned earlier in the thread but are there any recommendations for a heated blanket/throw for a pre teen pls?

NoWordForFluffy · 26/10/2025 16:38

I only bought some normal pillows, as I'm not a memory foam fan. What I did also buy was a Catherine Lansfield sugar skull duvet set for £4, down from £20, so I bought that for DD. She will be chuffed with that!

For anyone with a history geek, Humourous History Co has reductions on t shirts and hoodies at the moment. I got DD one about the Black Death!
