I’ve done a Masons gin distillery tour - and saw the Aldi Haysmiths labels on the way round - asked and the guide confirmed that in between the Masons runs they made various other people’s gins through the same
stills

plenty of other products are made on the same lines for M&S/Waitrose and Aldi/Lidl - just with a switch of outer cardboard

Smiths have a decent refund policy all the way through to January. A few years ago we bought the movie look out tower and when it dropped in price a little bit later we just took it back for a refund easily
