What do you think your 7/8 year old dd will want for Christmas this year?

I'm just curious really. I think dd will ask for something pet related (not real), she also loves Barbie and anything for crafts.

What do you think yours will have on their list?

Following as I have an 8 year old girl!

My 8 year old has already asked for Lego sets and Maileg mice to add to her collection. She has also asked for a kobo.

Note - DD is the youngest of 3 girls and has grown out of most of her toys, she has everything barbie, other dolls and minibrands related but has no more interest in them as she wants to be more like her big sisters.

Her Santa list is Stitch stuff, K-Pop Demon Hunters stuff, Sketch books and Wednesday stuff (which I still need to get)

She got a 3D pen and instant print camera for her 8th birthday, both big hits.

What's a kobo please? I've not heard of it.

Roller skates, one of those filled pencil cases with elastic holding each pen and pencil in place, bath bombs & aqua beads are very much wanted here!

That's a good list, dd loves kpop demon hunters too. Dd is still quite into her toys at the moment so I think that makes it a little easier.

Oh DD also wants pencils where the wood is coloured too. I think something like the Koh-I-Noor Progresso pencils - hopefully what she means by it. I should probably check before ordering!

Its a ereader. She has been asking since her older bother got offered one a while ago.

My DD is 7 and quite young for her age. Still very much likes toys.

She’s recently started horse riding & is obsessed so she’s getting Crafty Ponies

My DD(7) is slightly obsessed with Care Bears at the moment so top of her wish list is a jumbo sized Care Bear plush. I also have my eye on a Care Bears 3D sticker maker which I think she’ll love. She’s also asked for a new onesie (trying to find a cute Care Bears 3D sticker one but no success so far!)

We were in town at the weekend and her eyes lit up at a Lego Speed Champions race car so that’s on the list now too.

Thanks. Yes I have seen the Care Bears Polly Pocket set but she already a Polly Pocket set that she doesn’t really play with much so I’m a bit doubtful about it. It looks very cute though. I used to love Care Bears too…I wish I’d kept all my little retro figures for her!

Following this thread for ideas! My 7 year old (8 in January) likes toys still but just doesn't really know what she'd like. Lego is always a winner but looking at more ideas.

Last year the DrSquish kit and hatching giant egg were very popular. She, like many her age, wants to be a vet at the moment so is liking the idea of the 'live' pet type toys. She's mentioned a scruff a luv, but i think they may be a bit young really.

O I wish my DDs were still into Care Bears, I loved them as a child but never got one so lived vicariously through my DDs love of them.

They like playing dress up, lip balms are very popular with older kids so it’s an 8yos way of being like a big kid. Beats the horrible coloured lipsticks i nicked off my mum in the 70/80s.

My DD7 likes to pretend to be super grown up thanks to her 13yo sister and 9yo step sis, both of whom are too cool for school, but she actually still loves toys so she’s getting a mix. She’s been saving for a cuddle & care monkey fingerling thingy and doing really well bless her so Santa will bring it so she can keep her money. Also:

Last Christmas DD was 7 and her favourite present was a Little Live Pets cockapoo from Smyths. She still loves it now. She also loved the Mama surprise guinea pig from the same range, which was her 7th birthday present.

This year, so far I've bough a couple of Monster High dolls, a couple of Disney Villains books (she's converted from princess to villains 😅), a Stitch watch and a couple of fun notebooks (she loves drawing).
I know she's fallen in love with an older style Barbie Dreamhouse so I'm currently keeping an eye out on local selling sites.
