I’m really struggling with ideas for my DD (21). She’s so hard to buy for! Not particularly girly but does like nice bits and pieces
So far she's asked for:

  • Body Yogurt
  • LEGO Japan Postcard
  • New Balance Running Shoes
  • Some hotel chocolat chocolates
  • The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Lash & Brow Serum
  • Lindt Lindor White Truffles
  • Zuru Max Sushi Set

She’s at that age where she doesn’t really need anything, and if she wants something she tends to just get it herself. 🙄

Any ideas welcome!

I bought DD (was 21 then) last year a vintage charm bracelet from the Oxfam jewellery website. They have lots of good, interesting stuff which is properly checked. She loved it. I'm thinking of a heart locket this year to put in a photo of sadly deceased DPuss

That's lovely idea, but shes fussy with jewellery. Sorry for your loss ♥️

DD is about to turn 20. So far across both birthday and Christmas, she has some dvds she wanted, some trainers, gig tickets, tickets to a show and a small wheely suitcase for an upcoming trip she's booked. Other than that, she'll have a couple of books and she needs a new keyring.

There were some great ideas on a thread last year for young women, will look and link to it

My mum would often get us a Costa/Nandos/cinema voucher as a stocking filler, it’s quite nice as an extra treat when you’re studying/working!

You could book a nice afternoon tea for just the two of you.

Neom do nice gift sets for Christmas? Maybe Charlotte Tilbury if she likes make up?

If she’s into Lego surely that makes life much easier - so many kits around! Craft kit? Origami kit? Foodie stuff?

@ChristmasMad1 thanks for the condolences, puss was a few days off 18 so DD had known her most of her life. However, I must admit that we have rescued a young cat which happened surprisingly fast but we don’t want to forget dear old puss. In fact, I could put a photo of each in the locket

Gym/athletic apparel? My DD likes Gymshark.
Sol de Janeiro stuff.
Does she drive? Thinking voucher for a car wash, air freshener for the car, ice demister stuff (for stocking). If she doesn't drive, driving lessons!
Perfume, with matching body lotion, soap etc.
Tickets for something she enjoys, eg theatre, football match, ballet, NT membership.
Zoo keeper for a day experience, or animal experience, at local zoo.
New pjs, dressing gown.
