We have got a cheap deal for 1 night in London so will have from lunchtime on a monday until 5pm tuesday for a Christmasy trip. Two teens age 15 & 13. Have been to London lots but never in December.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Current thoughts are
Walking tour of Christmas lights
Shops - Harrods, Selfridges, fortnum & mason, Hamleys
Look outside some of the fancy hotels decor and see if any fancy cars (keeps 16 yr old happy)
Ice skating at Battersea (only few stops from hotel at Southwark).

We only booked yesterday, bargain flights so couldnt resist. Thanks

There is usually ice skating at Somerset House, which might be easier to get to.

Maybe theatre in the evening? I don't know if your DC would consider themselves too old for The Snowman (Peacock Theatre), but I love it! Christmas Carol is usually on too, but I'm not sure where this year.

See A Christmas Carol at The Old Vic or a panto, The Nutcracker or similar.

Visit Dennis Severs House near Spitalfields - it’s very atmospheric.

If your dates match up go to one of the Raymond Gubbay Christmas Carol concerts at the Barbican or a Christmas Carol concert at the Royal Albert Hall or St Paul’s Cathedral.

It's possibly a niche interest, but we had a brilliant time at Phantom Peak last Christmas.
