This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7 and share around the joy/referral perks.

It's in the app. At the bottom of the home page for me.

Edited

Same for me alongside Debenhams and uber eats rides! The boots cashback seems to have finished now

Love this idea. Thank you! Code wouldn’t work but bought one anyway!

It didn't work for me either but I emailed them with the code and order number and they sent me a refund within a couple of hours. Really impressed with a firm that has customer service on a Saturday evening.

These are worth a look! Just ordered some notebooks £1 each some xmas cards 50p each and 2 lots of xmas gift wrap £1.20 for 3 sheets!

Free delivery using the code SUPERSECONDS

I managed to get 2 notebooks 2 cards and 6 sheets of gift wrap for just over £5 delivered

Thanks for the recommendation, I have got some wrapping paper and a couple of notebooks... not sure if these will be gifts or all for me 😂

hugsandpugs · 05/10/2025 00:37

I’ve actually managed to order some wax melts for free including p&p off one of the sites on super seconds!

Slater22 · 05/10/2025 04:02

Just wondering re American Candy Store has anybody received their order? Wondering if should hold out or go for a refund…

Delahot · 05/10/2025 04:48

Have been asked for a vinyl cleaning kit. Anyone know anything about these or have a recommendation please?

Theraffarian · 05/10/2025 06:27

@NancyCarey thanks for the heads up on the glasses clothes , I’ve ordered one as a trial with a little metal keyring , printed on one side with a photo and a message on the other , also £2 delivered with your code. If they are good I have my eye on some other gifts for a second order . RMULTI20 , code in case anyone is searching for it at Rosemary signs limited .

Arthien · 05/10/2025 06:38

I've just downloaded the Uber Eats app but my only offer is a free trial. Where would I find the money off type offers, if and when they appear for me?

Landys chemist sent me an email to say they were offering a free gift with purchase (worth £100 apparently) if you spend £25+ on Clarins. Not sure how they compare price wise to other retailers. Offer ends on the 6th.

Their Clarins products seemed reasonably priced but sadly the free gift is out of stock. Absolute steal if you managed to get one, the threshold at boots is £70+
As I’m an optimist, I will keep checking throughout the day 🫣

Thank you

cosyblankethome · 05/10/2025 08:00

Blimey, mind blown about the discounts on the PayPal app. I’ve never noticed before.

Whoevenarethey · 05/10/2025 08:05

I know the craze is now for 3D printers, but I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a 3D pen? (Not sure we have the money for a printer or the knowledge of how they work 😂). Thank you

I wonder if anyone has any PJ advice! My friend is after some SKIMs dupes as a pressie! I am looking for the softest best quality for not the £130 price point lol! So far I've found M&S and I have a 20% off sparks offer but some reviews are saying they shrink! Any recommendations?

Did I read on this thread or another one that somebody had bought their mum old Bunty magazines or an annual? I'd noted it down in my gift list app but didn't make a note of where it was from or anything like that.

InbetweenDreams · 05/10/2025 08:48

For those that ordered the Amazon jumpers, I contacted Amazon to ask the seller if they were actually cancelling the order (as the email had just said they had not been posted on time). A day or two later the seller responded that they have posted out and they should arrive on time for the original time frame. I have now been charged. So fingers crossed!

Cyberjammies have some in that design. They had a sale recently too which might still be on.

Probably not useful but I bought some like this in walmart this summer for bargain price of $7 which are so soft and have washed really well (just in case you know someone in the states)

Jinxjacobs · 05/10/2025 09:05

I don't think this has come up yet, but kindle fire 10 HD is half price at the moment, and there's an exchange deal with old devices, which gives you £10 voucher and 20% off. I received mine yesterday for £45.99.

I like the Tesco version of these. Slightly cheaper I think about £25.

Thirtysomething123 · 05/10/2025 09:54

@NancyCarey i had an issue with my web page when ordering the glasses cloth and wanted to check it had gone through properly so I emailed them. They emailed straight back and checked the order for me. They also asked where I had heard about them as they have had an influx of orders! Good spot. Thanks so much for the recommendation!

Sleeposaurus · 05/10/2025 09:56

Well no matter what I try at sunshine bindary, the code SUPERSECONDS doesn't work. I tried yesterday and today. Sigh. It keeps saying my basket isn’t eligible, but everything was chosen from the super seconds sale bit and I've tried taking different things out.

Time to move on! I couldn't find any tote bags I especially liked anywhere as I am after some for gifts. Loved the sales though. Thanks to the original poster.

Wowsersbrowsers · 05/10/2025 09:57

@GiraffeGlee we had a cheap personalised football from mitre as well.

WhisperingAngelisnotbad · 05/10/2025 10:06

Hollister have a sale on with some good reductions, and further reductions if you buy 3 or 4 items, in which case you would probably get free shipping too.

I have bought some jeans for my son that work out at about £14 each (normally around £45-50) and a Christmas top for my daughter at a similar amount.

And it's a label they like...

[edited to add that the Christmas return arrangement doesn't start till 1 November- I just looked it up . However, I signed up as a member and get 60 days return window, though I will probably just get them to try the stuff on now and give it to them.)
