Which smart watch would you recommend? We could stretch to a apple watch se but I have heard good things about the Garmin Forerunner 55 GPS 42mm Running Smartwatch and Fitbit Inspire 3.

If your teen dd has a smart watch, how do they get on with it, are they happy with it? Not sure which one to go for. Thanks

My dd has had a sekonda smart watch for a couple of years. it’s one of the square ones that looks like an Apple Watch, but they now do a bigger range of styles. She’s really pleased with it, she can put a photo as a watch face, read her messages on it, record activities etc. Very affordable, charge lasts a few days, and their customer service is very good. I’ve got a Garmin vivoactive which I’m really pleased with, it’s 6 years old and still going strong, very user friendly, needs charging every third day. It replaced my Fitbit which I had constant problems with (I don’t know if they’ve improved since). DH has an Apple Watch, it’s brilliant in terms of iPhone connectivity, he can send messages from it, use Apple Pay etc, but it does need charging every day and they’re so expensive! Not sure if any of this is helpful, just my experience with a few of the options.

Thank you @TedGlen I'll take a look at the sekonda smart watch, I hadn't heard of this one before.

My daughter has a Samsung Galaxy Watch4 its my old one and she loves it. Shes had it 2 years now. But she has to take it off for school and keep it in her pocket until out of the school gates which is disappointing as she could change the screen to watch only but thats not allowed.

If I'd been going to buy her one rather then give her a hand me down I'd have got her the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3. My Mum has this and I set it up. I was very impressed with the features for the price and it is ideal for a teenager.
