I like sending cards. I buy cards that are linked to charities. But my usual place to purchase from isn't going to be around this year.

Please list charities (especially small charities) that do lovely Christmas cards.

Most charity shops have them.

rainbowunicorn22 · 28/09/2025 20:28

most places i have lived they have pop up shops for cards usually done by the church. you get a lovely big selection for lots of charities. Otherwise some of the main card shops tend to have them or the charities own shops

Most charity shops have them.

I'm just wanting different charities than the ones on our high street (and last year the choices was pretty rubbish)

Parkinson’s

Why not pick some charities of causes you care about?

loobylou10 · 28/09/2025 20:38

Sibs - we support siblings of disabled children and have a stock of packs of cards on our website for sale. Www.sibs.org.uk
Were a tiny charity and need all the donations we can get!

Sibs - for brothers and sisters

Sibs is the UK charity for people who grow up with a disabled brother or sister.

I think I'm just hoping for inspiration of smaller/different charities. The ones I'd usually buy for were rubbish last year. We have certain charities close to our hearts and obviously get some from those that do cards..

Ah I see. I always buy hedgehog ones because I support the charity. https://shop.britishhedgehogs.org.uk/

I always get mine from the local hospice charity shop. If you have a hospice near-ish you, they might do cards?

tinyspiny · 28/09/2025 20:54

Shelter have some nice ones ,

CICRA. Fairly small and support children who have been diagnosed with Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis, both lifelong devastating diseases. They were invaluable for my DC in the first year of diagnosis and they fund specialist training for Uk doctors as well. Cards are gorgeous too:

I looked but could only find e-cards, do you have a link to the packs of cards please?

Hedjwitch · 29/09/2025 20:33

Second RSPB. They have some lovely ones which are great if you feel more of a Solstice vibe

Inthedeep · 29/09/2025 20:36

I have 5 main charities I normally buy cards from, our local hospice, our local RSPCA who are independent to the main RSPCA, our local Donkey Sanctuary, The RNLI (I live in a coastal area and see the good work they do) and Compassion In World Farming.

I tend to over buy Christmas cards and give the left over cards to my Mum for her to use.

I agree! I have bought some of the advent calendar cards, such a good idea.

I'm fairly sure it's this group who set up pop up charity Christmas card shops.

BRACE funds world class clinical and laboratory research into Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia to find better treatments, achieve earlier diagnosis and one day, a cure.

BRACE’s role often involves funding pilot projects and other initiatives that fall outside the policy guidelines of other funders but which are subsequently found to be worth every penny. It also provides core costs for key clinical and laboratory teams in Bristol, helping to create the stability that long-term success depends on.

The full range of Christmas cards can now be found on the BRACE website, including this year's new local design of Bristol Cathedral (£4.50 for a pack of 10 cards & envelopes).
