Both my hotel chocolate boxes were dated May 2025. They refunded both and gave me an extra credit of £8.99 - to be fair this is the second issue in less than a week so think they were trying to make up for it!

That's awful. I bought the gin making kit a few months ago which was best before Sept 2024.

Just a further note about Hotel Chocolat: I've had that box before and really didn't like them, so only buy if you know you or the recipient like lemony / fruity flavoured chocolates.

Noted Aromas have a good sale on (they also usually do 342 around payday) and they are the BEST dupes.

I no longer buy expensive designer perfumes, the dupes are actually better and last longer. I get compliments all the time and have bought loads as gifts:

I don't think they have terribly long dates on some of them. Some are made with cream fillings, so I've never bought for Christmas earlier than November.

Done my 1st haul order with the £10 off, will see how it goes!

I was in home bargains this evening, if you have a peppa pig fan, they had some really good bargains - for young kids.

I'd ordered a box, but just cancelled my order as they've not been dispatched and I didn't want the hassle of collecting the order to have to complain to Amazon about them!

Apologies if this has already been posted but there is an offer on uber eats for Iceland. £25 off a £15 spend. I think it might be a glitch. Ive just managed to get 4 selection boxes, 2 choc oranges a box of Forerro Rocher and bag of Halloween sweets for just over £5.

Oh wise ones......do we think the new Velvetiser will be reduced anytime soon? We use a Lavazza milk frother but it struggles with proper chocolate flakes and you have to melt the chocolate first, otherwise it's brilliant and I wouldn't have anything else for my coffee!
The new Velvetiser has the advantage of hot and cold (which I always thought was a total oversight). DD has just started Uni, her birthday is in October and I have just had a message saying she's messed up making a hot chocolate tonight in the microwave.
So, just wondering !

I just kept adding things to my basket to the value of £25 and then it just charged me for the delivery and uber fees. It came to £6ish but then on the delivery page it took £1.50 off because I selected a 3 hour window for the delivery

I'm interested in this as well, DH has started making a lot of Old Fashioneds so I thought a smoker kit would be good for him. There is a £10 amazon one with good reviews to go for if nothing better pops up.

@Blessedbethefruitz this is the one I have saved, I'm not sure if he'll like a smoked cocktail so it might be a good starter kit and I can get fancier in future if he likes it.
