No sign of my American candy order either, they are still advertising 65% off!

Ok, now I’m going to go the other way to everyone else, how do I find the men’s deals?

I think they took them down. Possibly reached the maximum orders for the offer.

Well I can’t complain, 4 Christmas jumpers for less than £12 inc delivery. Even if the quality isn’t great they can be dog walking or around the house jumpers for this season. Now I just have to see my 13yo DDs reaction when she sees I got us the exact same jumpers 😂

Boots £10 Tuesday has the £23 and £16 Tweezerman tweezers in its offer again today. Some people said last week that they had sold out, so it might be worth trying again.

There are fewer present-type things, in my opinion, but you might consider the ‘Sanctuary Spa Signature Collection Luxury Reed Diffuser’ which is normally £25.

SALEEXTRA30 gives an extra 30% already reduced crocs prices!

Am I missing something? Even with the extra 30% this is coming in at £20-30 minimum? Is that good value for crocs? 🫣

Yes its good for them. I got 3 pairs, 2 for DC, 1 for me and it was just over £50.
Sale seems to be better for certain types and colours.

I'm just catching up on my to do list while a small person has a nighttime party in my uterus. Am I going mad in thinking someone mentioned a discount code for Must Have Ideas? Not very festive, but I'm tempted to try their Mould Magic as a final attempt as salvaging my washing machine seal.

And on a more Christmassy gifting note - my four year old loves watching music on tv and has repeatedly asked for a microphone "like the real singers have". His red plastic Argos set has become unreliable after less than a year of use, so I want something a bit more substantial but still child-friendly, with an adjustable stand, probably black, but nothing too heavy as I can see him dropping it. Does such a thing exist? And if it does, will I need to buy an amp too? Thanks in advance, you lovely festive Elf Crew!

Arregaithel · 30/09/2025 03:46

@Arthien code for Must Have Ideas

Slater22 · 27/09/2025 14:18

Not exactly Xmassy but JACKPOT should take 20% off

Mamabear0202 · 30/09/2025 06:20

Has anyone seen any discount codes for Jellycats?
or money off anywhere?

TIA

I'd not heard of the Mighty music player tbh but wondered if it wouldn't be cheaper to buy an Amazon Echo Dot for kids? We haven't had a kids one so I don't know for sure but I assume it can be connected to Spotify?

Thanks. Should have mentioned but my husband has a high up role in an IT company and won’t have any Alexa type things in the house because he doesn’t trust them. 🤷‍♀️

So you can use the yoto player as a Bluetooth speaker, though we never have so not sure how easy it is.

But that would mean she could set the Spotify playlist off using your phone and having it okay through the yoto, then she would be able to go in her merry way using simply the yoto player.

However as we haven't used it for that I don't know if she would be able to skip or anything.

PearlsPearl · 30/09/2025 07:32

@Mamabear0202 jellycat don’t do discounts ever.

However Temptation Gifts have some on sale, they’re a great site.

I’ve never known them to do sales however I found one that had sold out online and in store in Waterstones and it was cheaper than the online/in store price so it might be worth checking alternative stockists

If anyone is looking for some teenage style jewellery Lovisa has a lovely wee sale on. DD has asked for waist jewellery and most of it was reduced from £14/16 down to £3!

Oh now I feel old. I used to wear chains around my belly. I cant remember what they were called but "waist jewellery" sounds much more sophisticated.

I'd need to buy chains by the foot to fit now!

Hi,

Has anyone had any experience of the Mighty music player

My 8 year old has got into music recently and has set up playlists on my Spotify account. It would be great if there were a way to play these without stealing my phone. She’s too young to have her own phone and although you can play Spotify through our tv, she likes to listen to music in the bath and in her bedroom.

Have you considered a good old fashioned mp3 player? My 15yr son has one and loves it. You do need to download songs on it but his holds something like 3000 songs. He uses it with a (waterproof) Blue tooth speaker in the bath.

My teenage son likes to wear chains dangling from the belt of his jeans. He is using necklaces for this, but to be honest I think they are a bit too fragile for the use he is giving them. Where is the best place to get the teen boy equivalent of waist jewellery?

Im not sure this was aimed at me but my daughter wears chains and she buys them from goth / alternative shops. She bought some trousers from Danaged Society that had chains but Im not sure if they sell them separately.

ETA Ive just asked her. She says people call them trousers chains. She buys hers from random shops but Ive just googled "trouser chains" and lots come up.

Thanks - that’s very kind of you, but happy to keep it fair for everyone on the referrals board so it’s best just to pick one from there.

you won’t look back though - TCB really is money for nothing!

make sure he doesn’t wear them to any gigs or anywhere like that. Security will bin them.

bitter experience

Boots still have the offer of buy 2 soap and glory products and receive 2 big tubs of the righteous butter free.
I was ordering scrub anyway so thought may as well order another to get the 2 moisturisers free to put in the present box!
