Three kids, dd12, ds10, dd7..Santa always brings them something cosy. Over the years, they have had PJs, cosy socks, Teddies that turn into fleeces, personalised blankets, slippers, onsies, a dressing gown for dd11 last year.
Any new ideas? I usually see something cool or clever on Social media around this time of year and order early.

Hot water bottles ?

ChocHotolate · 19/09/2025 22:40

Rechargeable hot water bottles? Plug into a charging unit and ready in 10-15 mins, no hot water needed

Wheat bags? Or those teddies that go in the microwave.

My auntie bought mine happynappers one year and they absolutely loved them
but guessing they’re a bit old for them?

WrinkyDink · 19/09/2025 23:01

Jumpers with a pets picture embroidered on them? Ive seen them advertised all over social media recently and ordered one for dsil for her big bday coming up. They look good so hopefully it'll actually be decent! You can add names and little paw or heart logos added to the sleeves, and you can choose the colour of the sweatshirt/hoody and the thread used for embroidery too. (I dont work for them, promise!)

Hot water bottles or the teddies that go in the microwave, dressing gowns, slippers, fairy lights for bed room, hot chocolate mugs, cashmere socks, silk pillow cases, battery operated candles. Nice shower gel or bath stuff?

I'm not sure it always needs to be something new - surely nice PJs, dressing gown, slippers etc are always needed and appreciated.

Hand warmers. My DD loves them when doing winter sports.

Rechargeable ones are the easiest multi-use versions.

Or a nice throw; I still love cheap ones from IKEA or places like M&S Home.

Depends how much you want to spend, but TK Maxx have got fleecy tails for £15. We got a shark this morning but they also have dinosaur tails, mermaids and fish. They are sooo incredibly soft and cosy. Not huge, (but definitely bigger than baby sized) but if you’ve got a branch near you, you can assess whether they’d be big enough for your DC. It’s on the site for £19.99 but I’ve just checked the receipt and it was definitely only £15. I think Dunelm do a slightly larger version.

You can get personalised Throws on Amazon with your own writing and photos on. I got my MIL one with pictures of the kids in and she adores it.
