Does anyone know when M&S Xmas food opens?

I thought it was the 1st of September, but every time I look it says “coming soon”, unless I’m looking at the wrong thing or need to clear my cache or something?! I want to pick a good slot you see! 🎄thanks

Last year , we enjoyed their oysters and seafood platter on Christmas Eve with bread , sald and fizz. Think it was around £60 total but delicious and a very special meal for 2 which could have easily fed 4 as starters . Will be ordering again this year . And thanks for the heads up re the pine cones. Will add to the list .

Does anyone have any feedback on the Santa chimney dessert?

We have had pine cones for as long as I can remember in my Christmas orders and maybe good to try something different this year.

I always say I will order another dessert but the chocolate pine cones are a tradition and they are sooo good.

I tend to go to M & S for the mains meats/desserts but not too impressed with the accompaniments e.g. roast potatoes. Had far better from other stores. So I now do a split shop.

I went into Marks today and they have all the Xmas munch tins in store now. I think people rate the peanut and jelly ones.

A packet of their Xmas gingerbread and white chocolate cookies accidentally fell into my basket (and then into my gob when I got home). Obvs it's good to quality control them before the festive period.

I'm hosting a party this weekend and saw they have Xmas crisps too. So pigs in blankets crisps are being quality controlled too ... 😉

Waitrose is taking Christmas orders from Sept 22 so it will probably be around then.

Oh, and I am checking the M&S website daily for the team (for the online orders date). I can also confirm that the gingerbread cookies were lush. ❤️

They need to hurry up with that.

I went in today, they had the shortbread tins and the Christmas style trail mix.

@Crumbelina The Jelly tin is nice but there is not very much in the tin, it certainly is not filled to the brim. I would recommend buying the tin. Keeping it and filling it up with your own choice of sweets.

and Ocado has the gingerbread coffee syrup. I can also see some of the Christmas munch available to order.

I've been in every day for the last 8 days. In fact twice yesterday and today thanks to DDs indecisiveness. I'm waiting for the gingerbread syrup and the Spiced Shortbread and am starting to get impatient now as its later than usual. Im also worried that they may have discontinued the Spiced Shortbread (this one)

DH was doing our Sainsbury online order and their Shortcrust Bakery Mince Pies showed up . He asked if I wanted some but I decided to be Adult and resist ( till it's 100 Days at least )

I found last years M&S food magazine when I was tidying so I'm happily perusing .

I just got an email to say it's open now 😊

Omg those biscuits are divine, fingers crossed here that they haven't been discontinued either 😋

Although saying that, I've just been on the website and it still says coming soon...

the email says that food to order is coming (right at the bottom).
