I’ve just been asked what I want for Christmas, so I’m having a think about it.

Out of curiosity, what do you want for Christmas this year?

A full nights sleep without my DS waking up….that is all!

I think I’ll ask for a LEGO voucher, a poster of my favourite movie and the Fenty lipgloss I’ve been wanting to try.

A new Kindle. There's nothing wrong with the one I have but it's old and I'd like an upgrade.

Just decided today whilst waiting to have my ears unbunged and there was a brochure in the waiting room … Tropic night cream and daytime moisturiser.

My birthday is next month and I've got a lovely new handbag and perfume on the way 😊

A new ring. I've lost some weight recently and my old ring keeps falling off.

last year DH paid for me to do an embroidery course that started a few weeks after new year - I bloody loved it. Some something like that would be awesome.

Tickets. Festival/musical/concert- anything really. I LOVE having stuff to look forward to.

Ashamed to say I want a handheld steam cleaner. But also, I would be furious if someone bought me that as a Christmas present.

Just to get through it with some semblance of peace. I lost the love of my life last weekend and I’m dreading it. It’s his birthday or would’ve been next month, mine the month after and then Xmas. My DD will be with her dad, it’s his turn. I’ve very little family. I imagine I’ll be looking out of the window and seeing the families surrounding all joyous and I hope that gives me comfort rather than remind me what could’ve been. Currently attempting to build a sanctuary in my home so I can hunker down and self soothe rather than inflict my grief on anyone else. Funny old life isn’t it?

@AlexandraJJ I’m sorry for your loss, perhaps you can do something really different to the normal on Christmas Day? A horror movie marathon and a Chinese take away or find some woods for a long walk and a solitary scream?

I hope it’s as peaceful as possible when it comes.
