Gifts to go with an Aeropress?

Hello!

I'm thinking of getting my husband and Aeropress. He loves proper coffee in the caffetiere but only uses in fits and starts due to the fact it's a bit messy. I thought an Aeropress might be a good idea (I've read it makes better coffee anyway?) what could I get to go with it? Neither of us like clutter so I'm hoping it's a good idea.

Great gift - they make delicious coffee. Maybe you could get him some expensive coffee to use in it? Some lovely biscuits or biscotti? A really nice cup?

How about some nice coffee (subscription?), coffee grinder or a milk frother.

I like my Aeropress, and it is very satisfying to pop the grounds neatly into the bin!

I was gifted two lovely handmade coffee cups, some local coffee beans and a coffee grinder a few years ago. It was a lovely gift and still used today.

Oh we are massive Aeropress fans! I would get a couple of beautiful mugs to go with and some fancy coffee.

Being an aero press owner: a good box to keep all the bits in; an extra set of filters.

Also coffee and a mug, obvs.

My dad is so addicted to his aeropress that he has to take it on holiday - so maybe a box for it (aeropress plus filters plus possibly a milk frother little whisk thing? Dad uses one of those on milk heated up in the microwave and seems to find it satisfactory.

Yes to roasted coffee from an independent coffee shop and decent mug. Also Aero-press do a metal filter which may be worth getting him?

Some fantastic ideas here, thank you so much. Re the mug/cup, is there a specific size that works best? He has previously bought me some gorgeous hogben pottery ones, I wondered if they were the right sort of size as perhaps I could get one for him.

Metal filter, box, subscription all things I wouldn't have thought of. Much appreciated!

If you do buy some coffee, either a as a one off or a subscription and you want to get it ground rather than whole beans, make sure you get it ground for Aeropress (it's not the same as for a cafetiere).

Noted, thank you! I had started looking and I noticed some said ground (Aeropress), I would definitely have just bought the standard one without this thread so thanks again.
