Hey Everyone ,

I have been reading the Christmas bargain thread and have felt inspired to start shopping. I have been looking at the felt tip pen sets for my eldest ds who loves colouring and drawing . I was looking at getting him a decent pen set for one of his gifts. Can anyone recommend a great set for a 7 year old ? I have heard posters mention how great the posca pens are but have also seen lots of Ohuhu sets reduced on amazon. Does anyone know if they would be suitable ? Are they washable. He has always used Crayola . So looking for some recommendations. Thank you 😊

Love the stabilo cappi for my 7 year old, and promarkers for my 10 year old

I second the stabilo cappi. We have a little hook in the kitchen for them to hang off. They're so useful. You can get bigger sets with more varied colours.

I use Ohuhu and really like them. No idea if they're washable.

Thank you for the recommendations. Will check these out . I've also seen Marvin's magic markers which look good 😊

Nothing of any use to add, just to say, I bloody loved felt tip pen sets, crayola crayons ( in their own case!) and Caran D’Ache colouring pencils!

I had a very traumatic childhood, and found peace in my colouring.

I am very sorry to hear that @CutiePatootee I hope you are okay now 😊 . Both my children enjoy colouring, they have always had Crayola art sets .

I’m all good now thank you. 🌺
There is something very calming about colouring in, perhaps it’s the concentration needed?
Its a very underrated pastime. I’m often tempted to buy adult colouring books, but I would never get anything done!😄
