Any recommendations please? We want to go away for Christmas 23rd ish to 27th ish for a number of reasons (mainly my family being a PITA and I’m. It hosting again!). Two adults, two 14 year olds, would quite like to be by the beach. No real budget at such.

need

decent food, fully hosted / served Christmas meal (a lot seem to be buffet?). I had my heart set on the Scotsman but should have thought about it sooner as fully booked!

thanks

Have at look at the Culloden - a beautiful hotel approx 15 mins outside Belfast city centre. Sits right on Belfast Lough with gorgeous Irish Sea views. Food is fantastic with a nice spa + pool as well. We go every Christmas Eve for dinner and drinks as the vibe of the place is just so lovely and it’s beautifully decorated.

It’s always very popular with any visiting celebrities etc

Great shout @Cappuccino5off to have a look now. I’ve got family in that end of the woods but don’t think of it!

Watergate Bay in Cornwall is very family friendly. We haven’t stayed over Christmas itself, but I bet they’ll have lots of entertainment suitable for teens.

Try Wells next the Sea / Holkham in north Norfolk - great quiet caravan park Pinewoods on the Holkham estate or the Victoria Hotel with rooms and shepherds huts. Next to beach, pine forests and nature reserve. Lots of very nice hotels/pubs in Wells too
