For the fun up to Christmas stuff I found the most gorgeous book by Tolkien. He used to do letters for his children every Christmas and they're all compiled beautifully. May well have been recommended on here. Title is 'Letters From Father Christmas' and there are a few options for versions.

Anyone seen a gin advent calendar on special offer yet? I got my 80 y.o DM an advent calendar last year and she said I was the first person to ever get her one. She then ruined the moment somewhat by saying she wished it had gin in it 😭😂.
