Please can you suggest presents for a 5 year old girl who has already got the usual items like a scooter, pram etc? The budget would be around £50. Thank you.

Outdoor toys, if you have a garden (Chad Valley do a double swing set for £60, so I'm sure you could get a single set for less, especially on somewhere like facebook marketplace).

Puppet theatre- for full sized ones have a look on facebook marketplace or ebay, you can get some lovely ones cheaply (the melissa and doug one is great).

Face paint, hair chalk, space hopper, skateboard, sand pit, full sized keyboard, ukulele and easy book (recommend Colin's magic ukulele book.1 and cd). Board games like dobble, dock game, outfoxed, headbanz, battleships, screwball scramble, Uno). Walkie talkies (go for the professional ones). Big soft toy, special cushion, stick on glow in the dark stars, nice bedding or clothing. Necklace, jewellery box, microphone, special photo blanket, photo album etc. Hairdressing kit including spray bottle, hairbrush and pretend scissors.fancy dress anything. Nightdress or cosy PJ's. Slippers. Crocs. Special bag. Hair things or something like a pencil case to hold all hair things in (joules do a nice one). Pretend glasses (mine adore these and we have about 8 different pairs).

Arrange this age we also did a home made potion kit for our 5 year old and 8 year old and was a bit hit with both and had longevity. just put stuff you collect together in a big under bed storage container she could decorate (we put in bath pearls, bath fizzy things, teabags, different coloured mini bottles of diluting squash, dried flowers, seeds, herbs, effervescent, bicarb, sugar, food dye, vinegar, different sized bowls, spoons, thermometer, test tubes, measuring jug, stirrers, goggles, notebook, labels, pen, jars, bottle of water, any little bits e.g. little rocks, gems etc to experiment with).

What dose she like? Things my DDs were into at 5yo

Barbie play set
Our Generation or DesignaFriends dolls/outfits or playsets
Our Generation Horses
Trip to Build a Bear
Other favourite/popular dolls - Wicked, Wednesday, Disney Descendants
Sylvanian Families
Camera digital or Polaroid
Art Set

Things that have gone down well with my 5.5 year old and get played with regularly:
Sylvanian Families (can find good bundles on Vinted)
Magnetic tiles (some of ours were from the middle aisle at Lidl! Played with daily for years)
Mario Karts and cheap hot wheels track
Barbies, or even just the mini ones you can get from B&M. You can buy sets of clothes for Barbies on Amazon. The 2 for £20 deal at B&M is also useful here
Games - Orchard games, Snakes and Ladders, puzzles
Yoto player (a bit more than your budget but I believe the portable one is cheaper, and might have more longevity for car journeys etc)
Build a Bear (you can find second hand, great clothes bundles on Vinted)
Galt science sets
Reusable sticker sets - Melissa and Doug do some great ones, or Hobbycraft for smaller/cheaper option. DD is obsessed with these
Kinetic Sand/slime very popular with DD and her friends

Other things we've bought for DD that she's enjoyed that aren't toys:

Decor for her room - cushions, artwork etc
Character nightlight/star projector
New bedding
Pyjamas
New hairbrush/hair accessories
Character water bottle/lunchbox
Ticket to attraction - at our local castle, you pay admission once and you can go all year. Great playground/lake and cafe that DD loves visiting
