I'm single and my family doesn't do presents anymore as we just buy ourselves what we want, but I bought myself:

I'm sorry. I know you shouldn't have to, but being clear on expectations is a must for me. We either decide to get and give suggestions, or decide not to, and it's followed.

Maybe next year you should do the same for them as they did for you 😕

My friend got me a salt lamp and a cartoon computer drawing of my house. Another friend got me a bunny keyring and another a book.
My best gift was that I got to spend some time with my mum, who's on end of life care in hospital.

Oh I love this, I laughed just reading it 😂

Audi A5 coupe we had talked about changing my car in a few months but totally unexpected this morning. DH went into work yesterday and told me had left my car there as he went for drinks on way home. Thus morning he took dog out and came back in the new car that he had hidden at our friends nearby.

Running shoes, jumper, pyjamas, books, slippers, vegan chocs, merch from my fave musician, soaps, tights, jigsaws, board game, tangerine.

From my DM: Oodie weighted blanket, a pair of earrings from Astrid and Miyu, an ELF cleansing balm, Aveeno oat moisturiser, make-up sponges, ELF power grip primer, LEGO sunflowers set, and a pair of pjs.

In my stocking I had a body wash, sheet mask, Burts Bees lip balm, deodorant, Maybelline Sky High mascara and a candle.

From my DP: LEGO Vespa set, a Pokemon squishmallow and a Harry Potter book set.

From my wider family: A necklace and candles.

All gratefully received and loved.

DD9 gave me a silver trinket box.
DS5 got my a silver key ring.
DH got my a selection of gins & mixers.

From others in my family I got chocolates and cash. And nice coffees.

We have DHs family over tomorrow so will have something else then.

I'm really happy with what I got.

DH bought me a toaster. Not impressed, especially as he arrived home at 12.30am completely paralytic after going out for a "quick drink"

My mother got me a personalised fountain pen from a catalogue store. Whilst I am usually grateful for any gift this feels like a kick in the teeth after all of the help and support I've given her over the past 18 months. Feeling a bit deflated and used.

Tennis bracelet, perfume, Miss Dior and 2 Kilian, Dior bath bombs, lots of Neom and Charlotte Tilbury, lots of clothes including gym stuff and a silk blouse, body lotion and other beauty stuff. Absolutely no complaints. Very appreciative of all of it.

DH got me some Ren (artist/musician) merch I wanted, joggers and sweatshirt, lovely quality and can’t wait to bum round the house in them tomorrow
DS bought me chocolate
Parents got me slippers, pjs and a Dune handbag
Db got me a record and some chocolate
fil got me chocolate, earrings and the travel steamer I wanted
I got myself a record, dress, Converse and a cook book because why not and I did all
the shopping for everyone in our household 😂

That’s a brilliant present. Such a super city. You must go to the bar that Freddie Mercury frequented in Munich, there is a Harley motorbike on the wall. But don’t be surprised when the Germans there speak back to you in English. I was there with my German DP and even though we speak only German together, he doesn’t speak English, most people heard my accent and spoke back in English. A little bit frustrating sometimes when you want to practice.

A Stanley Travel Mug and new duvet set from my parents and perfume and a digital photo frame from my brothers. Got a makeup bag and new phone case from my daughter

My absolute favourite gifts were my twin teenagers making a scrapbook that has combined all of my special moments in life with them since they were born. It made me cry so much. Also, a gift from the whole family was a light up moon lamp with everybody's faces in it.

One of my 16 year olds also got me a Lush gift set+ silver stud earrings and the other one got me a Pride and Prejudice sweatshirt with a Soap and glory gift set.

My 13 year old son got me a lovely fluffy dressing gown and a Nivea lip balm set. Got some fluffy slippers from my 9 year old daughter and a flowerpot key chain from my 6 year old daughter. As well as a Christmassy dance from the youngest two 😁

DH got me the Babyliss blow dry brush, a fluffy heated blanket, a candle accessory kit, an air fryer book and a flowery dress.

My Secret Santa ended up being my father and he got me a Jo Malone candle, a blue sparkly top and a salt lamp.

Stocking stuffers with little bits like fluffy socks, wildflower seeds, tons of chocolate etc.

Ninja air fryer from my mother for myself and partner.

2 of my favourite perfumes, orange toblerone and tickets to see Incubus next year from partner.

Feel very spoilt as I never expect a gift as I just want the kids to have everything.

So. Much. Chocolate. Like a ridiculous amount. I like chocolate but I also still have an Easter egg I've not eaten so I'll probably still be eating it next Christmas.
Present wise, I got perfume, a make up palette, a Chanel handbag mirror, 3 candles, 6 mugs(!!), a puzzle, a colouring book, very fancy rituals bath bits, a lush bath bomb and a travel neck pillow.
Very spoilt although disappointed I didn't get the karaoke machine I had asked for (although I don't think the family are disappointed that was missing. I think relieved is more the emotion they are feeling 😆). There's always next year I guess
