Hi. I have an order with a collection time of 9 - 10 am tomorrow. Do you think if I got there earlier, say 8, it would be ready and available? Does anyone have experience? Thanks.

I’d say probably not.

DH collected ours this morning so I tried asking him what the procedure was, and he said that the woman took his order details and went out the back to get the turkey. But a man in front of him had loads of items and was sent to the front of the store to collect his order. So none the wiser there, but working on the basis that they organise their time slots like M&S, where everything is in crates, your crate would be behind the crates of people with earlier slots than you.

No.
in my Sainsburys this morning, during my slot was all the other peoples orders in the chilled counter, who chose same slot as me. When i finished my other shopping and walked past again, they were bringing the next slots down.

the reason they ask us to choose slots is to stagger it accordinly as they only have so much space for people to collect.

I collected mine this morning between 6-7am. It was a woman at at desk with the orders in front of her. Gave her my name and she went out the back then returned with a crate with my items.

I think they’re probably stacked (she said they were taller than she is) according to time slots.

Thanks. I got there about 8.50. There was no one in front of me and it didn't seem to be a problem that I was early.
