My little ones are only three (nearly four) and one but my three year old has been so much more into Christmas this year and I’ve loved doing some Christmassy activities with her (decorating, making Christmas biscuits, walking around the village to look at Christmas lights). I don’t have a lot of Christmas memories from my childhood so I wondered what other people’s teenage/grown up children say they remember and love most about Christmas time. Hoping I can make Christmas as magical as possible for my girls as they grow up 🎄

Every year I do the flour footprints around boots, but in the downstairs toilet so it looks as if Santa had a wee and used our loo.
My kids all make a beeline to check first thing on Christmas morning and then tell everyone for the rest of the year.
This year I’ve also bought a gold metal button to put on the toilet floor so it looks like his button burst off.
I think this will be something they remover when they’re older because of how much they talk about it through the year.

Going to Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, then waking up reasonably early on Christmas morning to turn out the horses, for more of my childhood Christmases. The first year we no longer had horses, and woke up later than 6:30, felt very strange!

I don't think anything Sad ds is 21 and he doesn't ask or talk about anything from his childhood. I sometimes say something and he will agree. I still do him a stocking.
