We aren’t hosting but I’d like a turkey or some Xmas meats/bits for later in the week at home. When’s the best day and time to go to the supermarket to get a reduced turkey…(assuming at some point Christmas Eve!?)

Boxing Day?

In my experience, it's getting harder. Supermarkets tend to undeŕ, not over, stock. Definitely don't wait until Boxing Day. Try Christmas eve but not too late.

This. I did my shop in Lidl today and there was one Turkey left (maybe they will restock tomorrow). Iceland have Turkey crowns on offer i believe if you don’t mind buying frozen. Last year we went around 3 big supermarkets on Christmas Eve looking for reduced food and couldn’t find much at all.

On Boxing Day last year we got a turkey crown with stuffing reduced from £72 to £26.
