This may flop, but there was a thread a few days ago that could have turned nasty...instead, it turned out to be the loveliest thread I've read on MN in ages! Everyone chatting about what they love about Christmas, lots of jokes and laughter!
So while this isn't a thread about a thread, I thought it'd be nice to have a little "How's your Christmas going?" thread! Mulled wine not essential to joining in. 😁
We're in Norway now - my DH is Norwegian so we have his late dad's old home. We'll be here for the holiday, and that means we'll basically be decorating twice as we also decorate our house in the UK. 🎄 I can't complain!
Arrived yesterday and there's SNOW. We've picked a tree, MIL is on her way around with a vast array of decorations, and the kids are on a total sugar high. She's been kind enough to stock us with food until tomorrow when we can go shopping, and there are bakery items so obviously that means mince pies.
I may or may not be wearing an elf hat that says "Mummy Elf". 🧑🎄
