If you spend Christmas alone what do you do for yourself?

I go first: I bought a winter landscape 1000 jigsaw and THREE kinder chocolate santas. I will make beef stew for myself with dumplings.

Also just had the idea to run myself my first bath in ages.

I'm estranged from abusive family and this is my 2nd Christmas alone, not including COVID Christmasses.

oh yeah one more thing before I hop off this thread - on Christmas Day if you’re bored or want to chat to others in the same situation you could post here on this thread.

I’m sure some other solo Christmas peeps will be around.

I probably won’t be checking social media or MN much since my phone will mostly be off but I may pop on here briefly.

I'm going to order Chinese food and binge watch The Bear which I've never seen.
Boxing day I'm going to the cinema to see the Robbie Williams film.
Other than that, not much, I've plenty of food though, and I've bought myself gig tickets for the summer as my present to me so those to look forward to.
If I change my mind there is a local cafe open for people on their own and they're doing free Christmas Dinner, (voluntary donation, which obvs I'll give), so I could pop along.

Aww, I'm glad the cats are going to be spoilt on the day.
