Delicious Yule log recipe

I’ve tried a few over the years (Nigella, Delia, good food etc. none completely blew me away. Any decent ones out there?

I’ve tried to love a Yule log, but they never blow me away either. This doesn’t answer your question but I get a Christmas Colin now, less bother than making one and I love the actual chocolate coating as I think it’s less rich and sickly than the ganache/buttercream coating on a Yule. Following though for recommendations - I might give a Yule one last chance!
