Urgh I am struggling - I want him to feel happy and excited but I hate the cost and waste of tat!! Always start modest then loose my nerve & but a load more just before Christmas. Currently at the “modest but worrying” stage:

DH has got him 3 stretchy toys but I don't think he even likes them anymore. The ones he used to have displayed are in a toy box now.

A lego set might be good.

Ooh where did you get the stand for fossils. The fossils / dragon ornaments / gems / Lego etc are driving me mad on shelves. I appear to be bringing up a hoarder!

DS (almost 13) has some light up anime wall art, another dragon, his usual dandy and Beano annuals, a bath bomb, mug cake mixes, hot chocolate stirrers, a Capybara nightlight and his main present is an X box which he hasn't a clue about as we don't normally do very expensive presents!

loves his fossils and dinosaurs! does make it easy to think of presents for him!
