Is anyone very excited to get glammed up?

Just that really.

I've always loved doing my makeup but day to day it doesn't work for me like that. A full face of glam, curled hair, nice clothes, fake tan.

And we get a full four days of it at Christmas! I'm just genuinely excited to glam for a few days

Always excited for people who feel like that as I have been excited about this sort of thing in the past and absolutely loved the whole shebang! I can safely say though with a one year old and another cooking, I am very firmly in the "very excited NOT have to get glammed up" camp 😂 hope you thoroughly enjoy the glamming and festivities though 🥂

Yes but my glam and your glam are not the same. I've had my nails done and hair freshly cut and coloured. I've lost a bit of weight and have a new dress for Christmas day. I also love wearing jewellery.

But I dont wear make up.

I'm jealous! I've had an eye condition flaring up so haven't been able to wear eye makeup for 3+ months now :( enjoy your glam!

can’t think of anything worse than make up and uncomfortable clothes just to meet some standard of “glam”

I shall be over here comfortable in my slippers and joggers with my hair tied back out my way. Plus more practical if I’m not worried about cooking in heat and steam with a full face and nails.

i hate the feeling of make up though especially round my eyes and am always desperate for a shower if I’ve been wearing any.

Fair play, I do it totally for myself. Something about sitting watching a tv show or with my favourite music on, doing my hair and makeup just soothes my soul a little 🤣

I will be in my stretchiest leggings/pj bottoms for the duration.

Im going out for a festive meal with the girls on Saturday and can’t wait to get my sparkly eyeshadow and glittery dress on. There’s something about Christmas glam that is way more exciting than any other time of year!

Yes I am, but I'm also feeling a bit like the fattened goose after a few weeks of enjoying festivities, so not at my best. I've carefully selected looser fitting items for events as December goes on 😅

I will be glammed up but then get fidgety so am guessing I will be in my comfy pyjamas by late afternoon with my unruly hair tied back by then.

The Christmas glam in the Christmas pyjamas is wonderful though

Me op! I always wear huge black heels and a little black dress on Christmas Day with my make up and hair nicely done. I love it and don't even care that I have nowhere to go glammed up, I just wear it around the house 😂

I have never glammed up but this year I have thought about it and will definitely go for it next year! My plan is to up my makeup game as I’ve worn the same for 25 years!
