Walked into 5 month old bashing lower branches on Christmas tree which has artifcial snow. No idea if they ate any, is that snow toxic? Very worried

Left the room for 5 mins while they were on play mat and they somehow managed got near the Christmas tree and was bashing a lower branch which was cuasing the snow to come off.

The tree was purchased from ASDA uk a few years ago. The snow was already on when purchased.

Is that snow not much to worry about or is it toxic?

Lesson learned they are being put in their mini chair and being strapped down if I have to nip out even for a few minutes!

Very unlikely that it’s toxic. Yours won’t be the first or last.

Does not say not to eat the snow 😂But does say to keep away from babies and children which is my fault for underestimating him

I know it's toxic to cats. Never heard any warnings about babies though.

It's very very unlikely that there's anything to worry about in this scenario, but now that your baby is mobile your tree should be fenced away.

Maybe a small electric fence?
