Anyone else came down with whatever germs are going around? I know there’s loads of variations of cold/flu/sickness bugs lingering around and I seem to have came down with a hybrid of them all but I’m praying it goes as quickly as it came on.

I still have so much to do before Christmas and I don’t feel well enough to do any of it.

We're taking it in turns here dc2 gone back to school today after a week off with flu like symptoms. Dc3 on day 4 of flu like symptoms and I feel today like I'm starting with it. Dc3 has been off school ill the same week for the last 4 years. In fact last year wasn't well till mid February so hoping this is shorter lived.

Me! Full on can't move out of bed flu for the past 5 days. Only starting to feel a smidge better now. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

DD (5) had a cough first, then DH had a bad cold, followed by me getting this 😭

Yep. I've just got over tonsillitis and now I have a new horrible chesty cough, blocked nose, headache and I'm either freezing or sweating, no in-between.

I keep telling myself that if we get all the bugs out of the way now, I should be okay for Christmas & New Year

I’ve got my second cold in a few weeks. Barely got rid of the congestion from the last one and I’m streaming with snot again😷

I work linked to a general hospital and A&E and they feel like germ filled pots right now, it’s grim🤧

I’m most worried about norovirus, I really don’t want that!

We were in Legoland on Saturday and Sunday when DS6 woke at 5am vomiting. Left immediately and spent 3 hours in the car with the sick bag on standby (unfortunately required about 30 mins from home). He’s feeling better now and can hopefully go back to school tomorrow (no D/V since Sunday am). But I’m waiting for DH or I to get it and trying to frantically get as much done as I can in case it hits.

Oh no. I’m sorry to hear it’s not just me.
I hope we feel better by Christmas but this is supposed to be my busy prep week.

Us! 😣 started with flu symptoms on Monday, feeling very slightly better today - in that I can stay awake. Eldest (7) was sent home from school yesterday with same symptoms- fever, shivering etc. He had his flu vaccine on Friday and I read somewhere that it takes 2 weeks to be effective. Youngest (4) is unwell - has a fever but doesn’t seem as impacted as us. He had the flu vaccine in September though so I’m wondering if that makes a difference.

we have a panto on Saturday and a 4hr drive on Sunday and Tuesday. Hoping we recover by then 🤞🏼
