Fun christmas food for kids

Is anyone making fun Christmas food for the kids? I'm looking for some ideas! I saw a polystyrene cone wrapped in tin foil then cocktail sausages/cheese/tomatoes etc on cocktail sticks and stuck into the cone to make it look like a Xmas tree - thought my kids would probably love that but I can also see it being faffy.
I might do a fruit platter with a chocolate dipping sauce or something.

But yeh just looking for some fun ideas!

I’m doing these as part of a North Pole breakfast https://groceries.asda.com/product/crumpets/asda-4-festive-jingle-the-reindeer-crumpets/1000383208307

I’ve got these in the freezer https://groceries.asda.com/product/beef-joints/the-real-yorkshire-pudding-co-2-christmas-tree-yorkshire-puddings-150-g/1000383245465 and going to surprise the dc with them this Sunday.

And I’ve spotted these for Christmas Eve https://www.lidl.co.uk/p/deluxe-bao-buns/p10018746

Dairylea triangles with a twiglet stuck in the bottom and then dipped in a couple of herbs and a few pomegranates sprinkled on top, makes a cute Christmas tree appetiser!

Have you made/heard of snickerdoodles (cinnamon biscuits) or monkey bread (large, tear and share cinnamon brioche in a Bundt pan)? My kids (ahem, teens) love them. If you Google Sally’s Baking Addiction, she has very clearly written recipes. Or you can do a cheat’s version of monkey bread using jusroll cinnamon buns - saves time on dough proofing, punching etc. Let me know if you need recipes

oh and also chalet bread - if they like cheese (that’s not dairylea)

I always buy some trays of mini burgers, souvlakis etc from M&S - anything that makes them feel like giants 😊. I think I remember Xmas bao buns last year. Honestly the taste is always a bit disappointing- but still fun

My kids still like stained glass window biscuits . We also look up menus from restaurants and recreate their festive breakfasts/afternoon teas. A festive playlist is a must too!
