Present ideas for friend who is having a hard time

One of my best friends is having a really hard time at the moment. She will be spending Christmas on her own this year as her children will be with their father and she is recently estranged from his family. I would love to spend the day with her but we are going to be away visiting family. I am trying to think of gift ideas to cheer her up as she probably won't get any presents from anyone else. Any ideas?

I'd include something nice to eat and drink on the day. Depending on budget something from Charbonnel etc Walker and a half bottle of Lanson/ Hotel Chocolat and Sainsbury's taste the difference prosecco. Perhaps some nice bath stuff if that's her thing.
Is she separated from their dad? The wording that she's estranged from his family is a bit strange. Just trying to work out if she's alone as they're separated or if they're together and he is choosing family over her.

Sorry that was meant to say that she's estranged from her own family. She's divorced from kids dad and has recently become estranged from her own family.

Schedule a 30 min facetime with her and have a drink together
A card with a little letter saying all the things you love about your friendship
An 'IOU' for lunch, a little pamper hamper and a box of posh chocs

How about a 'survive Xmas alone' hamper - maybe call it something better than that.

Mini bottle of champagne / cava to have in the bath in the morning.

A CD (do people still use CDs? maybe a USB stick) of some favourite music.

A puzzle book / jigsaw / some sort of project eg if she is into knitting it could be a knit a scarf in a day kit.

Some nice cheese and port for the evening.

I think the idea of a PP to face time is a good one.
