150 secret santa

Doggoconundrum · 11/12/2024 21:35

It's for me. I need to choose what I want for the family secret santa that's not so secret. I have no idea what I want and need suggestion! It's a decent budget so would like something nice.

Theres nothing that I really need...I'm 8m pp with 2 under 2 so my body has been all over the place for the past few years and my head is firmly in children mode. Although I need them, I don't think I want clothes as I think my body is still changing. I want to use up all my own skincare/make up etc.

Suggestions welcome!

Do you mean £150?

Thank goodness as I thought you had 150 secret santas

MrsMitford3 · 11/12/2024 21:41

That's a great budget-
What about a voucher for a spa/massage? You'd have a year to use it.

Some jewellery? you could get a necklace with the DC names or birthstones or something?

You could get a nice handbag/nappy bag.

I know you said not clothes but a nice coat or some bits to freshen up your wardrobe? Or again-a voucher for a shop you like when you are ready to buy some new things?

Good pair of headphones?

holidayfever2024 · 11/12/2024 22:33

Ooh lovely budget,

I would be tempted to go for -

A favourite perfume if you don't have too much to use
Some lovely pyjamas or a dressing gown
Ugg / Fitflop slippers
A piece of jewellery - birthstones are nice when the kids are small

I’d go for really nice boots for me or if I was feeling more practical an air fryer if you don’t have one already (will be very useful when you have two little kids who need feeding around clubs and activities in a few years and easy to make quick meals with a newborn and toddler, but it is a bit boring!)

Topsyturvy78 · 12/12/2024 02:25

What about some good quality bedding? I love brushed cotton lovely and cosy for winter.

SnoopySantaPaws · 12/12/2024 02:32

Local coffee shop card? Regular treats for a few months?

specific piece of jewellery

nice warm, practical boots

voucher for your hairdressers

BurgundyBear · 12/12/2024 02:54

I’d do something I’d never splash out on normally. So a fancy monthly flowers subscription.

TheBiggestMuffInCheshire · 12/12/2024 09:08

Trainers.

Spangledangle · 12/12/2024 10:49

Perfume
Jewellery
Cashmere loungewear

MarnieRey · 12/12/2024 10:53

I'd get something useful but for me, air styler, new better hairdryer etc...

Floralnomad · 12/12/2024 10:55

National trust membership - lots of places to take the children and you’d have money left for something else .

Shufflebumnessie · 12/12/2024 11:16

@WinterCrow that's stunning 😍

Doggoconundrum · 12/12/2024 11:33

@wintercrow love this...however maybe for next year. This year it would just be constantly in the wash from all the fluids that come from the babies.

Voucher for a nice hotel for a night of undisturbed sleep

thinkfast · 12/12/2024 14:58

I would ask for a facial or a massage. It sounds like there's nothing material you really want or need and if theres one thing a mum of young children could do with, it's a bit of "me" time.

Needanewname42 · 13/12/2024 05:45

Comfy boots or a spa voucher (with babysitter)
