Lasagne - Bake and freeze or freeze before?

I'm making lasagne for 10 people over Christmas.
Thinking of preparing in advance.
Was going to to assemble lasagne but do I bake it, let it cool and freeze or just assemble and freeze without baking?
Also do I defrost and then bake or bake from frozen??
Or will it taste better to just cook a day or so before and then bake..no freezing?

For best flavour make and bake 48 hours ahead then reheat on the day. It tastes better than when cooked fresh! I would go easy on the cheese initially and put fresh on when you bake the second time

@mitogoshigg So bake leave in fridge, bake again on the day? How long in the oven 2nd time? Leftovers do always taste better so maybe I should do this actually!

When I have done this I have frozen it after assembling it i.e. don't cake it first.

I then defrost and bake.
