Best gingerbread house this year?

We've assembled a Lidl gingerbread house together for years (and I swear our attempts get wonkier every year 😆), but this year they've changed it! It's basically a big tent this year, with way less detail. So perhaps it's time to jump ship. Which other supermarkets have good gingerbread house kits?

we’ve always used IKEA but can’t get to one this year so have a Waitrose one. I couldn’t see one in Tesco so Waitrose my only other option! We’ve had one sent before from
Lakeland. HTH

Ooh, there's fancy! I will be driving past the county's only Waitrose tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have time to pop in!

I saw an Instagram post showing one made out of toast(!) today.

We bought the Aldi train, but haven't made it yet. It looks quite good on the box!

We always had an Aldi one but bought extra sweets. Choc buttons for roof tiles, flakes for log pile. DS now 13 so possibly less interested than me now 😂

We have the Morrisons one. Turned out very messy but it stands up 😄

Teen DD actually asked if we could make one yesterday, which is the first time she's shown any real interest in anything christmasy so far this year. So I'll be watching this thread to get some tips

I think I might have screwed up, actually. I went to Waitrose and they'd sold out, so I went back to Lidl- and they'd sold out, too 😱
We are going to Big Town on Saturday though, so I will try Morrisons, and maybe Tesco.

Failing that, maybe we'll go rogue and make something from scratch (Last time I tried that, years ago, it collapsed. The gingerbread gradually got softer and softer until the house fell down. Still, we're not in a damp granite cottage any more, so maybe it will be OK).

Steady on, Big Town might be big to me, but it's not M&S big 😱

We made ours tonight. We got the Aldi one. We also got the train to do another day.
It was fun to make but we weren’t very good at it. Everything was included, though we added some more icing sugar.
I think it’s the same one Lidl used to do, as we’ve done this one before.
